Rock United, a fundraiser to benefit United Way of Greater Cleveland, will rock W. 6th with an evening of live music from local and nationally known bands at the Barley House, located at 1265 W. 6th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The concert is presented by Oswald Companies and will be kicked off with a performance by 13-year-old local guitar prodigy, Alex Raz. The indie line-up includes popular Ohio natives and concert headliners Red Wanting Blue. Other bands scheduled to perform include Pittsburgh rockers, Gene the Werewolf, and local up-and-coming modern rock band JACKIE. The band schedule is as follows:
5:40 p.m.-5:55 p.m. – Alex Raz
6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. – Gene the Werewolf
7:15 p.m.-8:45 p.m. – JACKIE
9:15 p.m.-11:00 p.m. – Red Wanting Blue
In addition, the parking lot adjacent to Barley House will be tented especially for the event, and will have a variety of activities, contests and give-a-ways for Rock United attendees.

All proceeds from Rock United will benefit United Way of Greater Cleveland and the 202 health and human service programs that serve more than 450,000 Greater Cleveland residents every year.
